I watched a few videos on it, seems pretty decent for $40. Three lights and it folds shut. Battery is not easily removed. Anyone own one?

only folds in one direction which limits positioning your light coverage .
pretty poor design thought process and mix that with not being quick change on the battery I will give it a miss .

I picked one up, Around $50 with a 2 year warranty. You can change the battery by removing some screws. The light has leds on both sides of the bar so it'll still shine where you want when folded. Also says it has a smart off switch.

what's the advantage of this over the similar HF light with the 18650 batteries that you can change, without tools, in 10 seconds?

$40 is still quite a bit of money for a light. This light better have fixed the shortcomings of the Braun light such as the magnet strength and shock resistance. Even then it may not be worth the extra money. There really aren't any top spec work lights on the market right now that are cheap. My Gearwrench work light is functionally similar and costs marginally more. Even Snap on has work lights that cost under $100. Things will really get interesting if the average price of top spec work lights drops to the $30 price point.

About 90°.

(Not convinced of the lumen claim.)

It only has full bar of led on one side so pending how you need it positioned means you won't always get it to bend way you want for main led bar.
pretty stupid design .
For sure you can take screws out to dismantle body but I wouldn't want do that couple times a day, I will stick to the older design as pretty practical and you got more sourcing options than just HF branded .

Does it auto shut off when the battery voltage gets too low so it doesn't kill the cell?

I'm not sure if I am the only idiot that forgets to turn off the lights.

I have one, but haven't used it much yet (which is likely to change in a couple days). I don't have the Braun one to compare to, but the thing does seem to be very bright. I do wish it had swappable batteries, but if I'm needing hours of light in a stretch, this is not the light I'm using anyway. Since it charges via USB-C, I hope it's using the capability to charge faster (won't if it's just the plug, will if it is using the full implementation). If it does have the faster charging, I could see it living well enough with a tech and just charging in the off-time when it's not being used. If it doesn't, it's relegated to DIY'ers like me (though I have a lot of lighting options - my getting-older eyes really appreciate light).
