Is this possible ? Looking at a replacement wheelchair van for my son. Likely will buy a low mileage used one.
Is it possible to pull the history via a scan tool ? Probably looking at $25K so I am willing to spend a few bucks on a decent tool to help me make an informed decision.

FYI - this info might help someone. I had 2 prices for painting a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan, both $4k which involve pulling bumpers , ect .
2 weeks to paint it. Part of my decision to look at another van as the 2 week rental van would be $1500.
I had one guy who told me he didnt quote vans any more as people wouldn't pay $4 - 5K for a paint job. I understood that.

History as in what? Mode $6 will show the results from the last completed test cycle of the converter, oxygen sensors, vvt, etc.

But other than that or permanent codes which have not yet cleared, there is no native historical data function.

I'd suspect that some OEM systems have the ability to store long term fault history... That's just my suspicion. You're not getting them via OBD-II.
