So I collect, sell, trade and barter for tools and sometimes it pays off with some really cools items! I have searched high and low with no success on these tools.. could really appreciate some help.

1 - item wrench/multi tool I was thinking military but not sure for a piece of equipment or weapon..

2 - specialty screwdriver… not sure what it’s possibly used for.

3- Possibly another military tool gauge but you got me.

You might want to post those on the vintage side, a few military experts over there that don't get here as often.

Please rotate the little knurled stick. It looks familiar.

Yeah you can still get them new. The real ones have threads on the inside so it will tighten down on the gage to hold it.

The one in the OP looks home/shop made for a specific task and marked accordingly for a go/no go acceptance situation. Yet missing the real gage portion. Could be something totally different though.

first one is a magneto wrench for a Remy magneto (early early, before it was "Delco Remy") note the tiny notch cut out on one gullet. the feeler gauge blade is .020" ??

second one looks like a HOLDER for some sort of blade... not sure.

third one with "ORD" on it can probably be identified by Lugnutz or Don.... maybe military? :dunno:

another style of "Remy" magneto wrench. I had to order this one to complete one of my Gilfillan sets:
FOR REMY wrench.jpg
"For Remy" magneto wrench from Gilfillan Bros. magneto tool set.

The "notch" I referred to above makes itself evident on many examples of the "Ronson" "Nine in One" wrench sets, many of which were modified by previous owners. I have yet to figure out the "why" part of it. Examples posted below - it's the 5/16" Ronson wrench where you see this. (Check your set.)

Update- Still nothing from Starrett damn.
Don't wait. You can also check out all the precision tool makers at ITCL, including Lufkin, B&S, TUMICO.

Just plug the mfg name into the search box. Lots of entertainment just reading the catalogs. The best ones seem to be around 1930-50. A search for rule holder might take some drudgery out, but they may not call it that.
