"BnOE"

I didn't know what it was either and I've been swingin' wrenches for 40+ years.

Most people call it a "combination wrench", including the people that manufacture and market them.
Indeed. If she had called it a box and open end at least once prior so we knew that's what SHE calls it, using the acronym BnOE would have made sense. Still wouldn't have been common, but it would have translated.

Usually "box end" and "open end" are just used to distinguish the ends themselves though, not to name the entire tool.

And then to say you rebuilt an entire engine with just that tool and not reference what exact engine is simple enough to make that possible. Maybe it was out of an RC car? 🤔

BTW for high torque, you'll way more often see a sliding T handle over in Europe too. In the US, it seems ratchets are way more popular even for high torque, or the pivoting-end breaker bars.
On vacation a few years ago, we were walking around touring the oldest part of Barcelona, a maze of alleyways, and I walked into this hole in the wall motorcycle shop. Not a ratchet in sight. They also favor tubular L-shaped socket wrenches that went out of vogue here 100 years ago. As an antique and vintage tools nerd, I find myself admirably drawn to these approaches, to be honest. Including the guys in the video.

The other noteworthy thing about the reactions to the video here is the need for speed. Getting it done faster. It's almost never the highest priority in many parts of the world. Without judgement (I am prone to it myself), I am not 100% sure it's always a good thing.

If I asked my milwaukee-fan friend, he'd say hand ratchets are obsolete and all you need is an impact driver :)

In the end you do the job with any of them, and sometimes the time savings aren't really that meaningful.
