I have a Belair 55 CFM refrigerant dryer. My 5 HP Devair produces 19.1 CFM at 175PSI and is an overkill. But it gives me more than enough capacity to add my 5 HP Speedaire and or up the Devair to 7.5 HP. I run it 24 hours a day 7 days a week and I have no moisture problems in any of the 5 garages that it feeds.

At that price I don’t think you can go wrong with the Harbor Freight unit. Though you may look at the dryers from Eaton Compressor.

Thread to my setup.. . http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4901&page=8&highlight=devairhttp://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4901&page=8&highlight=devair

Where can one find/price the Eaton models?

Any specific examples? I like the price for the HF, but I don't trust anything they make with moving parts...

I have a Kaiser industrial unit. I sell CNC equipment for a living and this one was on a consignment-demo piece of equipment in our showroom. Someone turned off the compressor one Friday and didn't turn off the dryer ... Monday morning it wouldn't start up. The CNC machine tool builder sent in a new one and told us to trash the old one. In the back of my pickup it went. Got it home ... did a little diagnosis ... replaced a $10 thermal switch ... off and running.

Best piece of trash I ever drug home.
