As the question implies, have you ever purchased an M12 Tool from an Amazon Seller?

Dumb move or not?

Marketplace seller, 3rd party, whatever the slang is. Says it's shipped by BriansToolShed, it didn't seem right that's why I asked.

Got a friend who buys tools at auction; home depot returns, damaged shipments, etc. Checks what works, what's garbage. The working stuff goes on Amazon as used. Garbage goes to the trash. Sometimes it's brand new tools someone bought to steal the battery or get the best deal on whatever and then return. Some stuff was used for 1 small project and then returned. Some stuff is in torn up damaged boxes but never opened.
Buying from him is a good way to get new(ish) stuff for real cheap.
I think Amazon somewhat monitors this stuff so there's not too much stolen **** on there. This person is likely doing the same as my bud.

I just bought a 3/8 m18 impact off Amazon. If something was fishy, it would be easy enough to return but it all looked fine to me. I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon for my business. I do t really look at who the actual seller is, just the terms of purchase, refund, when it’s getting shipped, etc. I use an Amazon 5% cash back for all the purchases and that’s added up to hundreds of dollars. It’s all been good so far.

Yes. Many m12 tools. Did have trouble one time with a 2522-20 delivery - took weeks to arrive. Finally arrived and as usual, I forgot exactly which project I was going use it for.
That happens sometimes, I hate to admit, more than I'd like.

Done it several times. Never received anything fake or damaged. That being said, I would verify if it's returnable in case you don't get what you expect.

I bought a few m12 things from them. Satisfied with every transaction. Milwaukee batteries, some aftermarket Waitley batteries, my high speed ratchet, a jigsaw. I was chasing availability and price. Found it there.

I think I've ordered all my M12 tools from Amazon. Usually fine, except the non-Fuel drill showed up "loose" from a non-Amazon seller. Whatever. Drill has worked fine.

Our HD's and local stores are usually fairly picked over for the M12 tools.
