I made this table several years ago. Easy to move around the shop. A few years ago I took apart a washing machine that my son was going to throw away . There was one part in it I wanted to keep. Didn't know at the time what I would do would it but last week I found a place to put it. It has magnets that I wanted to use. Red arrow showing the part that came from washing machine.
I finally was able to get the bolt out of center of this and used a 5/8th x 5 inch sae bolt and nut . I then welded the bolt to a piece of angle iron. I drilled some holes and mounted it to my work and tool table . Holds these pliers nicely and now I can find them. Never throw things away as we can always find a use for them. Liking that plier holder. Does it carousel?
I could have made it that way but for now its not. Not a bad suggestion though. Thanks. I may give it a try. All I have to do is loosen the nut in the center. It was tight so it wouldn't ever come loose.
I have used it several times and its so handy to get what I need in a hurry without fumbling . Those magnets are pretty strong.
My son just bought another washing machine and he let Lowe's pick it up to dispose of it. I wish I would have removed the rotor before he did. They make nice tool holders:)
