kennedy 1022b hand tool box

i just bought the kennedy 1022b cantilever tool box from grainger.

i must say, by far the best hand tool box i have ever owned or seen.

it has one tray with the slanted metal tray to accomodate a socket set, and it has enough plastic sections to make 2 trays with parts sections.\


i must say very nice and it is made in OHIO.

for the money, thumbs up!!!!

That's strange; somebody on here said Kennedy moved production of their hand boxes to China.

I think just the Homak version is made in China. Anything that says Kennedy is still made in Van Wert, Ohio, IIRC.

Did it come with any kind of a sheet? (part numbers?)

I have an older one, where the dividers are manufactured, in it. I keep thinking I could fit more sockets in there, without them. (but if I could add them later....)

im not sure if it came with a sheet, didnt see one.

but the plastic dividers were in a rubber band, and i had to put them in along with the long sides. so i can completely remove the dividers from a each tray if i wanted to.
