New transfer pump works, but the o-ring they installed on the nozzle fitting was damaged, cut in fact, missing a chunk, so it leaked.
I didn't have one the right size, but I reinstalled it and cranked it tight, it still dribbles, but about an eight as much as it did before. Apparently quality control is not that great, you could see the o-ring sticking out of the fitting.
I have a good sized area spread out, I think Benson (orange forklift) is going to get stuffed back into the corner, then I can put a trailer in there. Then I have to move the FWD and another trailer into there, that should get me enough room to bring more gravel in without screwing me up to badly.

I pay a guy in Atlanta to store my trailer when I’m not working since I live in NC. He improved the lot and hauled in a bunch of gravel earlier in the year. I was starting a job in June and made arrangements to have the trailer picked up. When the driver tried to hook up, the tractor wouldn’t fit under the trailer! He called me to share his unhappiness about cranking a fully loaded trailer!

Sounds like you do the same thing I do - check temp on the hubs at every stop. Learned that one the hard way -- ended up ruining a hub on a two axle trailer in 2007 or so when bearing failed. I was towing a 69 GTO Judge from Austin, TX, to northern Virginia. Hadn't made it out of Texas before it happened, either. Made the rest of the trip on 3 wheels; helped that the GTO was a roller with no engine or trans, so it was light.

We loaded a 20 foot trailer with lawn and garden equipment plus a 4 wheeler today and realized I don't need any of it except maybe the four wheeler if I had it running. I can feel for Strouty with his larger collection of valuables.

I tried to go back to sleep about an hour and a half ago. No luck, so time to get rocking.
Yup and my delivery just got effed, he says he can deliver Monday, I am not sure what I want to do. I will move the pile of sand out of the way, spread the gravel I do have, then see what makes sense. They are still calling for the 40s most of next week, so I think I can still make things happen. This weekend is going to be very cold, Sunday might not even get into the 30s.

I am out of the back 40 gravel, I can get one more trailer tucked away and then I think I will be able to put another one next to it, wheels will be in the sand, but landing gear will be on the gravel. Then I have to move a lot of material, twice (maybe thrice).

I feel like I wasted an hour of daylight, I decided to head home early and spend some time with my GF, I got home before her, then remembered she has to work until 9:30 tonight.
I could have done something, but I am going to bed early, it has been one of those weeks.
Ready to move more dirt, it is going to be cold this weekend, probably only get 6 or 7 hours work between the two days, at least next week is looking like it will be warmer again.

Went to bed early and got up late, going to be a slow morning at the Hill, then I will head to the SG for the afternoon to try and move more dirt. I need to find my push button starter switches, that way I can get the Hyster going and drive it out of the shop, then bring the Mitsu inside so I can install some lights.

I spent an hour prepping the trailer with the damaged jack, need to find some material next. Should be able to glue it back together tomorrow morning or tonight, depends on what time I get done. The crossmember that I took out was all rusty inside, they never welded the bottom edge and salt and **** got inside. Seems like all the rusty areas are from some similar issue, but the trailer is overall solid.

I found the push start buttons, then I decided to take off the lunette eye and move it down. Well, those bolts didn’t want to budge with an impact, then I tried a 36” ratchet, nope, 1” drive impact wouldn’t move them, it did break the 5/8” grade eight bolts off though.
I am over at the SG now, going to start equipment and get moving dirt soon.

I took out a couple trees and moved some of the neighbor’s trash out of the way so I can free a Burb and a rolling chassis, then I am going to put the yellow someday dump trailer in there and start piling dirt in front of it. I think I can get a bunch moved today, tomorrow I need to actually move more stuff, imagine that, before I can put the rest of the dirt in its mostly final resting place.
It would be nice if I could just move dirt continuously, keep getting interrupted by something. I did probably spend an hour and a half bailing dirt and I moved enough so I can get to the "stuff" that needs to be moved, once that stuff is moved, I can really start dumping the dirt in the back corner with the army dump, should be a good time, hopefully I can start right about noon, it is going to be much colder tomorrow, so it may end up being an issue for Clark, cold temps seem to bring out the worst.....
I am off to get some dinner, drop a trailer off at the Hill, feed chuck, and depending on what time it is when all that is done, I may or may not do something else tonight, I have a burb o the ramp truck ready to go to the Hill and there is a forklift inside the SG that needs a push button for the starter installed.
