Hey guys, its been a bit but they sent me GRK structural screws and I plan to fix some of these posts over my
break. I am also going to be framing 2x6 walls between my posts over
break and start to work on my office area
So my neighbor was over and we were bs'n about future shop plans and the post lamination and he asked why I dont build the walls between the posts in a manner where the wall could hold up the roof when the posts eventually rot out. It's a long story how we got to this point but the concrete between the posts is actually ~7" thick or so with tons of rebar. Entire perimeter of slab is insulated with 1.5" XPS down below frost line. Not sure if this is even worth thinking about.
