Take a good look under there! A loved one of mine bought a new trailer and I found Bad Things when it came to the wiring, loose, floppy, long runs, but most of all, very sharp edges on steel pieces with wires bouncing against them. It failed soon enough and next time I get a chance, I need to redo it, starting with some kind of conduit.
That’s on my short list of things to do. I’ll probably take the crappy wire loom off it and run everything in 1/2” all plastic seal tight.

Can I ask where you bought from and what you paid?
PM if you want, and no hard feelings if you'd prefer not to say.
Thanks!
I bought it directly from JD2. They don't really have any sales but on Black Friday they had free shipping which worked out to roughly $300 savings. but the bender with 3 dies was $1842

Got this beautiful Cornwell ratchet on Thursday. 1/2" drive, 15" long

Very solid piece of steel and a great handle grip. It has a nice smooth polished oxide finish which is hard to capture in these phone pictures. Off the truck, it is quite black and a little sticky but once you wipe it down it's more of a dark metallic grey.

It's the old style 30 tooth design with verrry smooth action and nice clicks. The construction is similar to my bahco ratchets which means that they are easy to disassemble and service. The anvil is retained by a snap ring and a free-spinning grooved plate. Compress the ring with a pair of pliers and the plate lifts off, freeing the anvil. The pawl and selector are retained by a round pin with it's own smaller snap ring and lift out the top.

The selector is a thumb and forefinger pinch type that works equally well with your hand facing either direction. Action is smooth and light but it would be very difficult to accidentally bump or snag because of the rounded shape and the way it is centered over the pivot. The ball detent on the square drive is on the stiffer side which is nice for larger sockets.

Decent American-Made ratchet, (allegedly) sold by dealers in trucks with Romulan Cloaking devices.
Haven't seen a Cornwell truck in decades, but that ratchet looks familiar.

That classic coke bottle handle shape coupled, with a bulletproof 30 ratchet mechanism that hasn't changed in over 75 years, takes a licking and keeps on ticking. I don't know why you guys don't have Cornwell trucks in your areas. There must be 2-3 up by work. Some of the nicest dealers I've ever met over the years have been cornwell dealers. They don't last but, great people

Finally got around to assembling my Black Friday purchase, A JDSquared model 32 hydraulic tube bender. I fabricated my own roller stand first and I opted to buy a inexpensive pneumatic/hydraulic foot pump rather than the electric hydraulic pump from JD2. I'm still waiting on a few more dies that ordered to show up.

Nice. You'll love the JD Squared bender. I have the older manual model that I used for 4 or 5 years as a manual and then about 15 or so years ago I added hydraulics to it and built a roll-around cart. Best thing I ever did for it was add hydraulics. It's served me well for the nearly 20 years I've had it and it's bent a lot of 4130 chromoly for ATV's, snowmobiles and sandrails.

Originally I bought these for work because all our VMC and jigborers are Japanese made but then I used them really quick on my Toyota and now they’re in my home box. 😂
I have all of those Vessels, minus the tray… plus a few more. You are going to love them.

I have Hozan screwdrivers as well, but I prefer the Vessels.

I got an early Christmas gift this past weekend. Our new neighbors got my wife and I a Bosch combo kit. I really don't know much about the Bosch cordless tools since I'm pretty well invested into the Milwaukee M12 and M18 battery systems. The Bosch kit appears to have a nice circular saw, plus it comes with a 1/2" hammer drill which I didn't already have with Milwaukee.

I'm not sure what to think about the 1/4" and 1/2" combination impact driver. I didn't know that there was such a thing. I tried to do a little research on it. This one is has the model# GDX18V-1800. It appears to be a "1800B12", which is a Gen 2 model? Supposedly there was Gen 1 and a 1.5 that were both down on power. Then there's a newer Gen 3 with a button to change modes and an optional Bluetooth module to customize some of the settings.

Yesterday I stopped at HF to pick up some cheap ratchet straps and ended up walking out with a few extra items.

I just got these in the mail; they're for runing wire into split loom. Really. I swear.

They kinda work ... I have an assortment of sizes of those...from 1/2" up... I use them often and have only a few "Son of a Biatch" moments with them. They WORK as long as you pick the correct size for the wires... AND the wrap. There are always issues at the END of the loom... requiring some hand threading.

That workmate appears to be in outstanding condition. Did you restore it? Care to show us more of the custom top you added? I'd also suggest you post this on the Workmate thread here on GJ.

The Workmate is close to new condition. My brother in law is not a handy guy, all he used it for was more or less a storage table for other things he didn't ever use. I didn't do anything to it at all. The top is just a piece of nice birch 3/4" plywood and I cut 2x4s around and glued them on the bottom so the workmate could be cinched up and hold the top in place. Covered the wood in water base polyurethane and added the fake wood strips along the edges, whatever the stuff is called. It worked good.

Mine is close to the same vintage, but has lived a much harder life. However, mine still has a hardboard base that fills the square void above the folding legs. There's a great thread here about Workmates as @Skyman said.

Here’s the Workmate thread.

Please post some more photos and details about the larger work surface you made. I just have a section of plywood I’ve fastened a 2x4 to the bottom and mount in the jaws.

what are you gambling on? that you'll like it? I have one. Got it last year I think. It was a Christmas special that came with 3 sockets. It's a nice little ratchet. It's compact so, it won't do everything a longer 1/4 ratchet can but, it's good for most 1/4 tasks.
You pretty much summed it up. The gamble was liking it or not for hard to access areas.

Didn't take a picture but I used a 20% off for Zoro late last week and the order already arrived yesterday. FedEx has sucked this past year but they sure stepped it up over the weekend.

I was getting low on 3M polishing compound (final step) and wanted to try their blue foam polishing pads as I have a paint correction coming up over the winter on the Camaro and want to have everything at the ready.

No 4mm socket? Well, that just means that you're definitely going to have a 4mm nut show up in your life in the coming... uh... decade?
All of my 4mm sockets are virgins. These are sockets in my big toolbox with their respective sets.

I have 4mm sockets in my 3D Printer toolbox that are so far from virgins... they could be considered used up **** stars.

I had a similar problem.

I had / have a ton of old extension cords. I used them. The exterior is rugged and UV stabilized and provides a rub barrier.
