Just like the title says: Where is the best place to purchase these Canadian made Picquic's? :headscrat

I require all of them, including the Marine version in all colors . . . Anyone have a lead please do chime in, or PM me with details . . . I have already done some preliminary searches but want to make sure before I pull the trigger for a three dozen of these 6 pack screw drivers.

Insight . . .

All of them, in all colours... wow, you must be as big a fan of Picquic as you are of Armstrong... :D

The best price I've seen on the Six Pac was at the Harry Epstein websitehttp://store.harryepstein.com/search?q=picquic. Doesn't look like they've got the Mariner. For the Dash7, I actually think Rona might have as good of a price as that, when all is said and done, I believe they were under C$10, which with the currency exchange and shipping should be competitive.

I am a fan of anything that is quality, even more so if its Canadian made!

There is a trip coming up in the next few months and I am giving them away to a few needy tech's. So I wanted to bring them something from Canada that was practical and well built that would last a lifetime . . .

Many thanks for the link . . .

Hmmm, no sooner than I write than there is a Rona flyer delivered... seems they have 25% off Picquic this week. Plus you can get another 15% off on Saturday http://www.rona.ca/rona/servlet/rona/srvr_100616.jsp?storeId=10001&jspStoreDir=rona&langId=-1. I think that's your cheapest bet. Think I might pick one up and a few spare Picquic bits...

(BTW, does that earn me any how-to-get-a-150ft.lb.-Armstrong-torque-wrench-for-cheap points??? Sorry, couldn't resist...)

Somehow I was expecting to see pictures of an extensive Picquic collection by now, not a new thread of 29 sets of pliers...

I am still looking for a whole set of these things. The link you provided also at HD for what ever reason the in store price was still cheaper than the sale?

But, of course all three of the places I went too only had one or two of these screw drivers and not enough for 36 of these . . . :(

Well I bought one - paid $8.75 + tax for it, and not only did my local Rona have plenty of stock, they had some older stock with a bonus 4" magnetic extension. Bought a bunch of extra bits, as well, since it might get put in my car toolbox which sort of needs Torx bits.

(and heaven help me, this is the 3rd multi-bit driver I've bought in as many months...)

I bought mine at Canadian Tire, it was on sale at 8$ or so. I also got de "mini" model. Both of these are green.

I didn't know the were other colors until my boss bought a Yellow one in Montreal, Home Depot I think.

I really love them! :bounce:

Oh that's nice . . . Just dangle that Carrot at me! :( All of them had the little guys for sale in various colors etc. But, I don't want to offer those to the guys as it would come off as a little toy . . . :willy_nil

Good grab though, at least someone walked away with something useful!

Just return it . . . But go and get a good one before you walk up to the service counter.

They like to do as little work as possible . . . :spit:

Picquic is a great company to deal with. We have a good relationship with our Picquic rep, so if anyone needs anything from them that they don't see on our website, just ask and we can get it. I don't think they are 100% Canadian made. I believe some of the screwdrivers have parts made in Taiwan.

Can't speak to all the products they manufacture or carry under their name. But all the screw drivers I have from the bits to the shaft are indeed made in Canada.

It's clearly stated on the packaging . . .

I actually lucked out and spoke to one of the vendors and he gave me a bulk pricing for the sets.

He couldn't believe anyone would need so many screw drivers. But, after when I explained they are gifts for a few friends over seas, and abroad in the USA.

He just smiled . . . I should receive them all by this weeks end, I hope!
