Mystery Machinist Level

Got this level in recently and noticed the small static vial is empty. It doesn't have a stamp anywhere but does look similar to a Starlett or Stanley(think I've seen both brands with similar design).

Anybody know enough about these to make a guess at the brand and if it's possible to replace the static vial?

Look real closely around the vertical machined surface just above the bottom surface. Sometimes there is a brand marked there. You may have to scrape some paint.

Starrett sells parts for their products on their website, or call them.

Looks very similar to Starrett, but Starrett always stamps their levels and/or vials with their name, and sometimes "Athol.
Mass". Yours could be a repaint. Scrape some paint off the sides of the base and see if the stamp is there.

The paint(black crinkle) on the sides is already pretty chipped so unless the stamp is tiny it looks like there isn't one there. I'll scratch off the rest of the paint on the sides later to check.

The body casting on yours looks very similar to the Exact machinist level... 8" maybe?
The name plate looks adhesive applied, so you might not find any identifier on your unit...
The fastener screws are different, but that might be due to a manufacturing running change...

Looks like it's a match. Guess Exact was econ option.

Plus it looks like Senlow's link has enough info to find the vial replacement.
