Can I vent my Big Maxx propane heater to same PVC vent as Water Heater?

I have no experience in this topic but I would say that this is something to be sure is perfect. Your topic reminds me of a family tragedy that happened locally in the last year. Homeowner installed a water heater and at some time later the the family perished by CO2. Big lawsuit with the...

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

Had a friend years ago that had one as he was a former K9 military man. Told me one time that he could put that dog in the yard and tell him stay and go on vacation. The dog will be here when i get back he would say. I never got over how well trained and alert that dog was.

    Move a pole barn?

One of the old farmers near me finally sold out to the developers and now we have condos and stores. He took all of his barns with him. Had them taken down and reassembled at the new farm prob 30-40 miles away.

Does your homeowners insurance cover your pole barn?

I went thru a claim for this scenario and it was nuts. Be very careful that your agent and insurance company clearly understand the value of the items as well as the type of items that are in the structure. Here is why. Built a pole barn as a dedicated woodworking shop for my golden years...

My house is about 25 years old and has cpvc pipe. I’m doing a kitchen remodel and needed to cap off a 1/2” line that I no longer will need. Having used shark bites in the past I thought it was a no brainer. I thought the cap was fully seated but when the water was turned back on it blew the...

    Central Ohio - WWYD??

Nice looking shop. I had a smaller 24x32 built at my last home. Also central Ohio. Had the builder insulate the walls and ceiling and finish the interior with the same sheet metal as outside. If I were to do it again, I would go with plywood on the walls for storage mounting etc. I hung a...

    Skylight Flashing

Had similar trouble with low pitch roof with multiple skylights. Over time each one would leak and I would find someone to fix. But it always came back. All my units were from Velux and I called them at some point and they sent a factory rep out because they guarantee their product when...

Suspended Concrete floor with basement storage

We recently moved and one of the homes we looked at had a huge garage (guess it could 6-8). Anyway that garage had a full basement under it. The garage floor was held up with steel beams.

    Foam core cabinet doors

Not sure of the sheet costs but MDO is what roadsigns are made from. They hold up to the weather just fine.

    New House, Parking Frustration

We are more than likely confusing terms, such as personal information, privacy, identity theft etc. That said, when it comes to individuals and personal information the Commonwealth of Mass. has long been considered to have the toughest statute in the country when it comes to this topic. Many...
