I repaired 3 different cars in a row and got shut down by the city for running a business. Sad thing was I did it all for free for friends. Most I ever made on that deal was a home made apple pie. I didn't want to start a shop and that proved it would be a hassle to do it from home.

You might try talking to your local car dealer. They do dealer trades and buy cars at auctions all the time and usually have a couple of retired guys do the driving for them. Maybe you could send them down there with a truck and trailer and haul it for you. Might give you a little more control...

I have been in shops with them on the walls and you get good light but it does seem to always be right in the eyes. I would definitely second the multiple switches idea and some good diffusers over the lights, that makes a lot of difference.
