4 Post hydraulic lift question ?

OK, solved my problem, thanks to you guys and especially Oilguy for his input. I did some research on the SPX breather cap, and then called the pump mfg again to talk to a tech. This time the tech confirmed also that the tank needs a breather cap and gave me the cap part number. I searched...

4 Post hydraulic lift question ?

Got around to taking a few pics of my pump. The red fill cap is what I may drill a small hole and see what the results are. Unfortunately, I can't get pics to post either. If it works, I may tap and install a small sintered bronze breather I can source from work.

4 Post hydraulic lift question ?

Where would the breather be that you are referring to? I am assuming inside the tank probably? There is also a small filter looking piece on the back end of the lift cylinder. At work now. Will try to get pics this evening or tomorrow if you can point me in the right direction.

4 Post hydraulic lift question ?

Just set-up a new to me 4 post lift ( Backyard Buddy ) , but could be same issue with other brands. radio flyer wagon resto? mod? rod?

Here's mine for the grandkids. Not as innovative as some on here, but it does the job. New heavy duty axles, lengthened handle so I don't have to stoop over, and "zoomies" made from sink drainpipes.

Creeper for a big guy, what do you recommend?

Check out one called the " King Krawler " I bought one for my son for Xmas. He is a large guy and I chose it over the "Bone". Very well made, large wheels and rolls great.
