I agree with the using fiber and that is what i would do. Most people wont entertain usuing fiber at all or even better yet and lightning protection at all. All to save a few dollars. Two media cnverters and a pre-terminated fiber pair is not that much, certainly less than the nice big LCD TV...
Something like in the link below would work for the lightning protection. From what I understand the ground differential between the buildings tends to attract issues with lightning.

Get a bigger better gun or try and raise the air pressure or shorten the hose length. ALso be sure to just use a deep socket with no extension. The slack in the exension can rob you of some of the power.

Oops, never saw that. I have the Crown PSC in the exact parts washer they say not to use it in. No issues here yet....hopefully it is written in the manual since it is portable.

You did not put where you live. Do you have a crawlspace under the house? That can be used to store mowers and garden tools...etc. Another suggestion would be an lean-to off the side of the house. You can make it match your house so nobody will notice.

For the timing belt and water pump parts I just buy them online from a Honda site. I dont like doing the timing belts, so I use the best parts I can get!!
