I saw your posting and your jack looks to be the same model. Mine has a two ton rating. I glass beaded most of this jack in my cabinet. I brush primed the castings because they are kind of a rough surface to begin with. Then I sprayed the jack with Rustoleum Sunrise Red paint. It turned out real...
I bought an old Walker Floor Jack at Fall Carlisle. It had a remanufactured Hydraulic Cylinder and actually worked perfect. I paid $75 for it. I spent some time disassembling, cleaning and painting it. I was not a fan of the original blue so I painted it red. I knew that the folks here on Garage...
Sun Speedometer Testers are well built units that use the same drive components as their Distributor Testers. They allow you to spin the speedometer cable drive to various rpms and magnetize and demagnetize the head unit to calibrate the reading vurses published standards. Great machine to have...
About 12 years ago, I purchased a PUMA brand compressor for my home shop. I picked this model because it has a large pump (lots of CFM output)with a thirty gallon tank to save space. It's been dead reliable and is even relatively quiet. Here's a link but it doesn't show a photo...
I believe that this is a Sun model 945 Performance Tester. The model number should be listed on the attached blue metal tag. This is a very nice machine. It has the look of the older units with features like the multi range guages with indicators. Good luck with it.

The older Sun distributor Machines are high quality and actually quite easy to restore to working order. If the machine does not flash, look for signs of melted capacitors. Easy fix, just order new from Antique Radio Supply. The drive components are very reliable and you can still buy new...
hey folks, I thought that would be appropriate to share a photo of my Sun Diagnostic Equipment Collection. I love this stuff. I would continue to buy additional pieces, but I am running out of space.
Enjoy this photo,
Rick
Sir, I do not have a manual for your 1020, but I have seen them on EBay from time to time. If you find original manuals, not copies, you need to buy them. They are getting harder to find every day. Good Luck.

I have the same Puma Compressor only with the 30 gallon tank. I love it and use it alot for general wrenching. I have a small blast cabinet and it keeps up no problem, just runs alot. I bought mine twelve years ago when I lived in Nashville. At that time,, I was able to buy it from the factory...
Matt, my 72 Cutlass is a low mileage original car. It just turned 46,000 miles. I used the Sun Analyzer to tune it up and set the carb mixtures. I have used the vacuum pump on my Distributor Tester to test vacuum advance units and choke pull-offs. Very handy to have. Have a great day.

Matt, I also have a 72 Cutlass (Convertible) and Sun Machine collection. A often use my Sun 1120 machine with my old cars. However, it is a very large unit. For actual use with older cars I would recommend the following machines:
Sun 740
Sun 820
Sun 920
Sun 1020
Sun 1120
Sun 1015
Sun 1215
And...
