Vintage brass fitting, hose ends Please read!!

Restoring a period correct MoPar stock car, 1969 Dodge. Used on the 8 3/4 gear center section and axle cooler. Looking to buy 3 of the 90 degree fittings and a few of each hose end. 90 degree is: 3/8 pipe x 5/8 flare. Note the radius of the fitting. NEW stuff is cheapened up, NOT the same...

Painted, but hope to get a better match when the weather gets warmer. Still need to straighten the sides a bit more.

    Basement clean out score

Estate sales are cool. Got a nice Hein-Werner WS jack for 20 bucks. Mechanically perfect, tested it and lift/held fine.

Source for "retainer" clips for jack axle, lift arm, etc.???

Fastenal and McMaster had nothing. (Plenty of snap rings though!!) I'll make my own, starting off with close sized lock washers and worked them to fit.

Source for "retainer" clips for jack axle, lift arm, etc.???

They were totally round. Taking them off sprung them a little. The 1/4" was bent up already and almost fell off. I'll try McMaster-Carr. Thanks.

Ausco D7400 Floor Jack - Fix or Scrap?

I needed it because I have a vintage pic of my old race car sitting on one. I'll use it when I show the car as part of the display. I looked ALL over and the D-7400 is a rare one to find, especially from the mid 60s.

Source for "retainer" clips for jack axle, lift arm, etc.???

Where can I buy these in 1/2, 3/4 and 1 inch i.d. sizes? Plan B would be to flatten them out and attempt to reuse. Thanks-

    Humidity: What's the maximum amount?

Is the floor sealed? Most of the humidity comes up through the floor. Concrete is porous! When I built my garage, I laid 4 mil plastic on the sand before the floor was poured. Worked wonders. Have cut metal pieces over a decade in there without any rust on it... So, look into sealing...
