Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

I used some pieces of cardboard that were thick, but some dowel rod would work too.

Menards in store credit 57.65 value

I have a store credit for Menards that I probably won't make it up to Wyoming to use. Value is 57.65. I'll take 45 for it. If it does not work I'll refund your money. I have done this before and didn't have an issue. Thanks for looking!

Framing up an office, bathroom and mech area in pole barn

sorry for the late reply. I just talked with the inspector and it sounds like the little pony wall thing wont work he wants to see it finished. I think I need to go talk with a framer and find out the best way to approach finishing the area. I added a septic tank for the building and then tied...

Framing up an office, bathroom and mech area in pole barn

Part of the reason I need to have such a large area is because the county does not allow to have a garage bigger than 3000 square feet where you can park a vehicle. So this area must be demised. Meaning at least a 4 foot wall with a plywood wall covering. So what I could do is get through my...

Framing up an office, bathroom and mech area in pole barn

My building is up and concrete poured (slab on grade). I am ready to get the inside framed out for the bathroom, office and mech room area (radiant heat). The area will be 41x10’1”. I am just not sure where to start with the framing. I can’t find what I am looking for or am using the wrong...

Looking for some electrical help and advice

Thanks for the response and advice. I am trying to find 2.5" locally today but not having a lot of luck. It's only another $100 for the 3" so I'm considering just getting that so I can finish it up. I can't find schedule 80 expansion sleeves only 40. Should I just proceed with 40 then 80 then...

Looking for some electrical help and advice

I am running a 200 amp service from a meter pedestal (freshly installed for the shop) to the shop about 155' away. I planned for 200 amp service the entire time. I know it is way overkill for my current plans for the shop but I would only like to run this once. I have the trench dug about 3.5'...

New shop in Parker Colorado looking for feedback

Iirc the concrete floor and using it for storage of vehicles defines it as a garage. You are allowed as many barns/sheds as you want, but only one detached garage. I think you can get away with whatever you want, but if a neighbor complains then that could get you busted. I think the concrete...

New shop in Parker Colorado looking for feedback

I tried to skate around it as storage use etc and the lady at Douglas county shot that down right away said basically if you are you going store or work on cars in it then it is a garage.

New shop in Parker Colorado looking for feedback

I just downloaded that before I posted and missed it. You are right. 1000 sq ft is the limit, but I know that there are plenty of big shops in an area right around the corner from me that are over that. I am zoned RR

New shop in Parker Colorado looking for feedback

Same guy although I have not signed with him. I don't see anything about limiting building size based on zoning. Where are you seeing that?

New shop in Parker Colorado looking for feedback

I think that is is a bit of a concern from that perspective of loosing that nice 6" insulation but it is such small part of the building. It will still have some R value because I think it is finished on both sides and it only make up a small portion of my total wall space (108 square feet)...
