New addition to the tool box

Well it kind of a tool. My first ever zero turn and i did a lot of research on many different models and chose one that filled my needs and didn't break the bank. Obviously wanted commercial quality at the residential price (who dosnt) so this is the closest thing I could find) Hustler Rapter SD...

    Your most used ratchet *pics*

Don't have a pic on my phone and don't laugh but it's a Hrbor freight composite reatchet. Love that thing had it for like 6 years, why I like it because it's composite and rubber so I don't ding up delicate motorcycle parts and the fine tooth ratcheting mech makes for using in tight places. I...

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

I've had a set of these for years from when they came in the metal case. I think they are great over maybe 6 years I managed to break 3 if them but they were all the tiny ones. Never had one fail to cut, only break.

    Quick paver question

Not sure of your geographical location but I hope you don't get a lot of freeze and thaw. Because pavers will ALWAYS move during a freeze abd thaw. We had a side walk with pavers and I always took extra steps to be sure it was done right. But like clock work about every other spring i was...

    Interesting Photo

Funny how people that waste money on these types of things are always trying to justify it. Other things I get a chuckle about are shade tree bubbys trying to sell their Snapon 7ft high tool castles for $6000 crying that they paid $10000 for it. And before I get burnt at the stake do I...

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

Ratcheting pipe threader is a pass. It's a lot of work but I made 18 cuts with the 1 1-4" die and the die still looks to be in great shape. http://m.harborfreight.com/38-in-2-in-ratcheting-pipe-threader-set-62353.html

Harbor Freight's Parking Lot Sale This Week, are you buying?

Yea I tend to streer away from their electric power tools too. Although my dad picked up one of the sliding compound miter saws with a $80 coupon and that thing has made more cuts to date than my $170 craftsman did before it burnt up.

Ideas On How To Re-purpose Scissor Jacks

I use one with a drill adapter as a bead breaker for tires. Sit the tire on the floor under my truck hitch, sit the bottom of the jack on the tire right up to the rim edge. Then jack up to the truck hitch and start cranking. Will pop the bead just like a tire machine.

    Air Compressor Recommendations

Plus one on this. This is my brute, my father in law was trying to sell it for $400, I ended up getting it for nothing but the point remains. Had to buy a $25 start capacitor, check valve, replace the bottom drain valve and changed the oil in it. Even if I paid him for it I'd had less than...

    Water Softeners

We have a Rain Soft system and it's been great. The great part is it has a life time warranty on all parts. In 15 years I've paid for 2 service calls at $60 each, one to replace the valve body and a few o rings the second time. They are pricey but I'll pay it for that warranty, my aunt has...
