    Sawzall repair?

I have an early M18 that came with my first kit way back. It is a 2620-20 B58A. It sees light use really. I busted the 43-56-0035 orbital slot. I'm guessing that after they built the B58A build, things changed because for all the later builds, you can buy this part separately. 43-56-2620 is the...

Coolant with dry / cold / carbide chop saw ?

You should really have an extra blade ready on the wall ready just in case. I've not done many solid round bar cuts but have cut a lot of 1/2 x 2 1/2 solid flat bar, channel steel etc. Sure the blades will dull if you're lucky and don't do something stupid which I seem to do once in a while. The...

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

Thanks for that. This may put a one of those bad boys in my arsenal. Thought maybe I could buy one cheap enough and sell it when I was done if I wanted.

    Dead Milwaukee Fuel impact

I have my old brushed motor impact for a back up which does 90% of my tasks. Me and Home Depots paths should cross sometime this weekend. Amazon is 200$ bare if not. I was hoping to freshen up the batteries this black Friday if the deals were to be had. I think battery wise I have 4) 5.0s and...

    Dead Milwaukee Fuel impact

There isn't much info on these as far as repair on the tubes. It isn't like the wrench didn't pay for itself already though. My only beef with this wrench was the #1 position didn't seem remotely close to 100 foot pounds - so it rarely was used. Will I use the new wrench various modes? Probably...

    Dead Milwaukee Fuel impact

A little research shows that the torque setting is within 25%. How many shop manuals show tighten to 160 foot pounds or somewhere within 25 %...... A little rain shouldn't affect one of these. Who knows why they quit though.

I saw the one with the 4th mode. If you go up to the one key? one - did I see that you can set the torque on the app. Any clue if this is accurate? Or a PIA? I'd really rather fix what I have, but this thing gets used.

    Dead Milwaukee Fuel impact

Yesterday my 2763-20 1/2" impact said no more. Gives 3 flashes, nothing else. It is 6 years old, so I assume out of warranty and is well used. When I look on ereplacementparts, they note usually it is a little spring clip (which it isn't) or the electronics which are not cost effective to repair...

    LED Lowbay wiring question?

Amps on the label were .93 -.44 A They had previously installed them with 12 AWG wire, likely due to the high number of lamps. 10x10, 12X12 should be good depending on height from what I saw. Hope that it works out for you! BTW they come with a nice heavy conduit which will likely be 3' long and...

    LED Lowbay wiring question?

Yes, I drove there and saw all the lights were operational. They were hung at ~ 12' and spaced accordingly. They I think are 4K low output. I wired one into a power cord and hoisted it up and it will work great in my shop. I pulled the cover on one and in fact the blue wire was capped. Dunno why...
