small 8mm bolt actually 2 of them holding a turbo oil tank. no real stress here. i have used timeserts and they have their place just not a good fit for this .
im aware i need sti taps. the tap that comes in the kit is tapered not a bottom tap .this hole is less than 10mm deep
timesert is taller than the hole. unable to cut a timesert down so its not an option
i have a small blind hole in a turbochahrger that is stripped out. it holds the turbo oil tank in place. (bolt on each side hole in the middle hole for oil drain with a oring) the helicoil tap is tapered and the first few threads are for alignment. the hole itself is about as deep as the...

whats the best way to cut it?

are you able to fabricate? if yes then why not use your new education to start a small business of your own fabricating and welding say some high end car parts?
i own a turbo porsche. one thing i always see is the high prices for fabricated exhaust intake etc parts.
start small and work your...
this is why i bought a maxjax. tired of laying on the floor!
the only issue my lift experienced was crappy cheap hyd fittings. replaced them with some quality units no more leaks. i also lubricated the inside of the towers with some light grease and they slide much easier
you raise the lift until its at its highest point then open the bleeder on top and bleed the air out of both sides. repeat this until no air comes out on either side and it should level itself out.
flat nail a 1x1 at the back and rent a floor nailer from home depot. its angled and you whack it with a hammer to drive the nails. you can then trim the whole top with the 1x1
