Re: Allen Hexs & Torx Sets?

I'll definitely look into their sets. This is mainly for my personal use to use on my vehicles, friends and family. I just want to make sure when it's 10pm at night and I run into that special torx or Allen (that I will never need again) I will have it. That's exactly the set I've been looking...

dkroth, I would like regulator torxs at this moment, but I do want all the varieties of torxs or some of the other varieties in a set too. This Is why I think I'll have to buy different sets.

This is what I carry in my trunk. Jumper cables Basic socket set and ratchet, STD and Metric. Crescent wrench Channelocks Phillips and flat head screwdrivers. Zip ties Flash light I always carry a knife Tire gauge

I have a lot of Gearwrench. Ratcheting wrenches the STD and Metric and both sets of the standard and flex head. 1/2 drive metric and STD impact sets. Breaker bar.. I just bought the 1/2 drive 120xp ratchet. Let's see how that holds up. ALL my other ratchets are Snap-on, but one 1/2 drive Proto.

I've been looking for socket sets that have a good variety of sizes of Allen Hexs and Torx bits to purchase. Any suggestions that I could be missing before I buy? Is there one set with a good variety of small to large sizes or will I have to buy 3-5 different sets which I don't mind as long as...

For me it's Greawrench reverse ratcheting wrenches. I love both my standard and metric set. I own the flex head set too. Also, is this little tool that opens the caliper piston. It sucked trying to use a C-clamp all the time and having it twist off, too small, or not enough room.

Someone is going to have to start calling me. ;)
