    Oh really?... https://www.snapon.com/

Roll Stamped 3/8" drive impact sockets, who makes "value" sets?

Sunex are great, sturdy sockets.. but the stamping is VERY tough to see- not quite as faint as the Pittsburgh Impacts, but close.

    Tekton vs Gearwrench socket set?

Plenty of Gearwrench stuff and been generally happy with it, but I do break their bit sockets fairly regularly and warranty lately is about a 2 week process. Tekton has been very quick, usually a few days till the package arrives with the part. Had these Tekton sockets for about a year and use...

    Capri Sockets?

A big YES on Capri quality. While I prefer the chrome quality and markings on my Teton sockets, buying from Capti direct is fantastic. They throw in a goodie bag with every purchase and their warranty service is fastest of anyone I’ve used. (Not 3 weeks like Gearwrench) I use their wrenches and...

What do we think about Cornwell ratcheting wrenches?

These are their Made in Taiwan line, not to be confused with the USA Cornwell stuff. Have not seen a Cornwell truck around here in years.

New SB&D Craftsman “V” Series Ratchet?

    Yes it's all Facom

New SB&D Craftsman “V” Series Ratchet?

The website is a mess- Most of the ratchets listed are 2 and 3 piece sets. Some of the prices seem to be placeholders like the 3 piece set fo $1700. The $99 ratchet is actually 2 pieces, which puts the still above Icon, but not completely insane. These all look really cool but I would imagine...

Astro, Sunex, and Grey pneumatic - still solid?

Yes Sir- Been using Astro Nano Sockets and Universals, Sunex for 1/2 Impact, GP for 3/8 and 1/4 Impact and Tekton for the chrome. All seem similar excellent quality.

    New tekton impact sockets

We're using Sunex for 1/2" Impact and Grey Pneumatic for 3/8" and 1/4". Honestly I grab the GP stuff for use with hand ratchets all the time- I like the markings and they are far less slippery when greasy than chrome. My one complaint with the Sunex is the back of the socket is not recessed- it...

    Sonic Tools

The few tool sets we do have here that came in lovely fitted foam trays are a greasy mess right now- repeated wiping with brake cleaner have eroded the edges of the foam so we gave up and tossed them. Perhaps in an environment where you meticulously clean your tools after every usage the foam...

    Sonic Tools

Would love to see more images of the setup. Did you guys buy these outright or is this a trade deal with Sonic? I know they are currently getting units out to "influencers" to keep interest up. Given the current worldwide shipping crisis not sure the "Tools in a box" vendors like Teng, Sonic...

BoxoUSA Tool Bag with Tool Roll

Tekton, Capri, Icon or Gearwrench yes- Teng is somewhat pricey and their main selling feature is the fitted drawer inserts. I think a US General cabinet loaded with Tekton is about half the price of a similar Teng setup. The Sonic stuff is the same idea but even a bit pricier. As much as I like...

BoxoUSA Tool Bag with Tool Roll

Wow cannot see $770 worth of value here. Never really understood the Boxo USA thing- At least Teng and Sonic are fairly upfront with their Taiwan manufacture- Boxo seems to pretend that everything is USA based- you have to really drill down to find out Taiwan is COO. Seems like you could spend...

Tool Vault Elite XL 84" Review

I keep one Milwaukee charger on each side of the shop, one in the hutch and the 6 charger in the side locker. Can never have too many charged batteries!

Tool Vault Elite XL 84" Review

I agree with most of Marc's review. Yes this thing is a tank, built really well, finish on mine is impeccable, drawers slide like butter, latch system works fingertip-easy...very high quality piece. I figure it's 85% of a Snap On Epiq for about 25% of the price. Now of course with the global...
