Jackshaft Garage Door Openers: Which will be best for cost vs. return (Bang for the buck)?

Love our LM8500, going on year 3 and having the wifi functionality is awesome. It wasn't something I thought i would use or appreciate as stated early, but man it's great to be able to confirm it's closed and have scheduled closing to ensure security.

    Above 1200 Sq/FT 36x46x16 in OH

Thank you. Only took 9 quote revisions to land on the final design lol, with the last change being the added upper windows. I'm hopeful they help, but they are on the N and E sides and there is tree cover. Figured something is better than nothing. Since I'm not firm on water source (from house...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT 36x46x16 in OH

Broke ground yesterday on our multi-use 36x46x16 enclosed with a 10'x46' porch. Green posts, 14x14 overhead door, rear 10x10 sliding door and some windows for natural light. Front 25' will be concrete, along with the porch, the rear will be left dirt for 4H animal stalls. Once it's up I'll put...

    Stone driveway...need some input

Wanted the width out of the initial pour. Easier to go back, drop tree, cut out base, and fill in with Crete when the time comes. If I bent around it, then the next pour would have been the entire lengthof the drive. RH french drain & side dress - Dec 2013 Drive complete - April 2014 Now...

    work benches... from scratch

Here is mine I threw together this summer. I was tired of only having the small cabinet section to work on, but was waiting until I came across the right bench top material. The neighbor had a 9' section of bowling alley that I couldn't pass up! Bench is hard mounted to the wall studs, the block...

    Stone driveway...need some input

Thank you for the comments and thoughts. This is our first home and we are working on a limited budget. There were two main reasons with moving forward with the driveway this past fall. The main one was to have a dry, safe area for our boys to play in. Second was to add another selling...

    Stone driveway...need some input

Wanted to bring this post back from the dead. After looking at multiple options over the years, I made the move to pour concrete this past fall. Before: Prep: Pour 1: Final: With the great advice in this thread I have also added a french drain on the RH side that is about 90% complete. I...

What to do first? Paint Garage walls or epoxy flooring first?

Walls and ceiling first. I used a sprayer to paint, and ground floor.

    Experience with sheds????

I'm in the same boat as you. Want something that will last, but don't want to waste time with a kit. Here's what I"m going to do hopefully before winter. Worst part is getting site level.... http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_572_572
