    Toilet or not.. in shop...

I didn't put one in, only have a 20x20 and attached 14x24 with sink. Space is valuable. And right outside the door is a sidewalk with a drain. Works perfectly. Now, if it was bigger, I would put in a urinal only.

    Decompressing your air compressor

Probably costs more to charge it back up if you release the pressure after each use. I have 80 gallons plumbed throughout my garage and shop and always keep it pressurized.

    SCORE! Just picked up free...

Ingersoll Rand ThermoSorb Desiccant Air Dryer! Model TZM032. Looks to be about 4 years old and in good shape. Got it off a construction project where the existing compressor system was being replaced and they didn't want any of the old parts. I first mentioned it in this thread, but wasn't...

Potential Free Air Dryer / Filter

Interesting... I have a 60 gallon (with additional 20 gallon inline tank) Puma compressor. Single stage, three cylinder. Perhaps the dryer will work well when painting a car, but not so much when doing other standard tasks such as running blast cabinet or angle grinder. Regardless, I'll pick...

Potential Free Air Dryer / Filter

Can't get them just yet, hopefully in a month or so. Thanks for the info sheet link, was looking for exactly that! Looks like I could incorporate this into my setup. Once I do gat it, I'll have to review as to the best way to set it up, where in the line, etc.

Potential Free Air Dryer / Filter

I most likely have the option of procuring a ThermoZorb Modular (TZM) Heatless Regenerative Dryer and four filters for a nominal cost ($0). I have looked the model numbers up, but there is very little info that I have found that fully explain how this unit operators and how I could potentially...

    Newbie Question

Perimeter curb, stem wall, etc., are usually a good idea in my opinion. If you spill something in your garage, whether it be water, oil, or something else, having a concrete curb is very nice. Makes it easy to pressure wash the Garage. Keeps wood and siding further off the ground. Makes is...

    Asphalt Shingle Roof Leaking

Well I'll be damned! I have a couple roof shingle bundles left over and the directions actually state that they can be used on slopes less than this carport. There are special instructions though, for felt and overlap, but we followed those. Eh, whatever, still not the right application for...

    Asphalt Shingle Roof Leaking

Actually have thought of that. Sorta same as a single sheet roofing system. Not as high quality as TPO or EDPM some may say. Of course, this carport looks to have been constructed by someone who probably didn't know which end of the hammer is supposed to hit the nail. Hell, if I wanted to...

    Asphalt Shingle Roof Leaking

I believe I was fortunate that it didn't leak for the first five years. Especially considering the wind and rain drives right against the vert face of the shingles. Frickin' Pacific Northwest. Looking at the roofing, felt was used and a mineral guard, still not right system. I wanted to...

    Asphalt Shingle Roof Leaking

It is a true leak. No moisture in dry weather and takes a while (days) for it to appear when it rains. I'd have to look at the nails, but just the tip or slightly more is visible. Leak is probably the wrong term. Due to not enough slope, I have water weeping under shingles and saturating...

    Asphalt Shingle Roof Leaking

Wow, guys, I am just asking some advice, taking it in, and will make the best decision for my situation. That decision will be on me. I appreciate ALL the advice given regardless, damn. For what it is worth, the leaks as I called the are just some damp nails I can see in the plywood. One...

    Asphalt Shingle Roof Leaking

Sigh... It is not leaking in my house, this is a carport. We are buying a bed for my son so he has somewhere to sleep. The kennel is getting too small... ;)

    Asphalt Shingle Roof Leaking

Thanks bud... IHI, you got the funds to help out, feel free, otherwise... Regarding nails, a few were exposed during install and were sealed. Three tab roofing. Due to way house and carport was built 50 years ago, roof can't be pitched more. It is actually tied into the adjacent house roof...
