When I was researching this I read an article where a guy just pulled the starting rope with the switch off. Claimed it built enough pressure and no worries of over pressure. I haven’t checked mine yet but think I’ll try that.
Jack screw and ball nut I'm guessing. That's how the C-130 main gear goes up and down.
Did some searching before I hit post. They use a nylon nut instead of a ball nut. They also have a clear floor model. Interesting.

I'm gonna get me one of those. Kitchen sink drain gives us trouble now and then. My charming bride swears she doesn't let grease down it but I have my suspicions. I have a 4gpm hot water washer. All the hoses seem to be rated at 140F, 60C for you Canadians, so I would have to turn it down. Or...
I bought some Goodyear hose from Northern tool maybe a few years ago, not sure. It's held up very well. I just checked and they don't have it now. I wonder if the red Ironton brand is comparable.
I was drunk one night and ordered one, thought it cool. It works, air hose, water hose, I temp repaired a split hammer handle. That was two years ago. One beer induced purchase that wound up OK.
