I can only echo wow. I have read this whole thread over the last couple of days and I am in awe of your and your good wife's patience, persistence and eye for detail.
If we ever get over your way in the future from downunder I would love to call in for a visit and see it in person. I have...
Hi again Mark, I very much know where the Redlands are, I am not too far away from you in the Carina area on the southside. Like you I have two projects on the go, a 69 Mustang and a 56 F100, the former is just about finished.
Looking forward to see what you do with your shed.
Hi Mark, I am in Brissie as well. I have been going through the same process as you trying to get my shed sort for the last 12 months as well as attend to the long list of maintenance stuff to be done around the house. The latest of those is to rebuild the back fence which is being done over...
This is where I started with stuff all over the place and completely disorganised. This shed has always been a bit of a compromise because in my view it is not deep enough and it is not high enough to allow me to have a lift. We are hoping one day to move to a small acreage block where I can...
Hi all, I thought it was about time I started a thread on the refurb on my backyard shed. It is still a work in progress but we are getting towards the end of the journey now.
Firstly a few pics of the outside:-
The shed was built and had been in place for quite a while when I bought...
Scott, if you are just looking for a tough solid colour two pack epoxy, try Jotun Jotacote. I did my front two bay garage in it a few years ago and it has lasted well.
Hi Sergey I just finished reading through all 16 pages. Well done you are doing some awesome work. I was a bit concerned about your safety welding inside that gas tank through????
Mate I have not put up a thread on here, maybe I should. Mine has not been a major rebuild, more tinkering around the edges. Re the all ford day, I will definitely be going and hopefully one of the cars will be done so I can take it.
Cheers
Mate you have done a fantastic job, I am also in Brissie and also a ford fan. I am in the final stages of completing my redo on my back shed, hopefully it will be finished in the next 6-8 weeks or so.
Pete
Looking forward to your progress, I am doing the same thing here at the moment in my shed for my 56 F100 and 69 stang. I hope to be done in the next few weeks.
Don, I was initially with Simon and Robert, but having seen it with the fenders on, the proportions look okay, and given what a pita it will be to shorten the sleeper, I like your plan to run with it.
I would love to have a car carrier like this beast. Loving your work.
