On my husky, looks like the same one you posted, my 1/2" drive deep sockets won't fit standing up in the widest top drawer. I had to put them in the top chest bottom drawer to stand them up on the racks.
I have both sets (snap on) and find myself reaching for the one with the opened end on one side. After I brake the line loose I use the otherside for speed.
Not much has happened except projects getting moved in. As well as fixing other people's ****. Don't work out there in the winter because it gets to cold. List is to get it insulated soon.
And I have another free block top that I'm going to use for another bench/ shelf that will be used for light stuff. Like rebuilding carburetors. So plan on buying extra square tubing to use on this one as well. Though not as big as the other block top.
The butcher block was free basically. Doesn't really have to be a clear span. This bench will not be up against the wall but in between bays. I already have a heavy vise on another bench up against the wall.
I have a butcher block top I'm turning into a bench in the garage. Plan is to use it work on a few things, keep parts for the project I'm working on or taking apart, like engine parts. Heads but not the block would be about the heaviest. It's a 7x4ft block and 1.5" thick.

I sleeved the area in front of my shop for when I poor cement for a pad out front. But have a small gravel square acces area just in case I have issues at a connection in the future. Ou frost line is deeper here I believe and mine is 3ft deep
