HF Manual Tire Changer - use for TPMS replacements?

I purchased the HF manual tire changer a few months ago for the same reason. Worked great, but I did bolt it down to my concrete garage floor using Red Head drop-in anchors from Home Depot. It may be stable enough without anchoring, but I felt better about anchoring first. BTW, my tire size was...

Do You want discussions scrapped from Hot Deals?

The last time I gave a short comment, I believe in the HJ Epstein thread, it was quickly deleted for who knows what reason? So do whatever you guys want. I told myself never again. From then on I planned to be just an observer. Well, except for this post. Haha!

Making my 70 El Camino a show car

I’m just wondering how much useable space you will have once this alteration is completed? The actuators appear to be somewhat of a space killer, or at least appear to break up the space quite a bit. Have you considered just making it manual open and close? I know, boring! How to completely...

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

I know this thread is getting a little off track, but it reminds me of a good friend of mine that was a self employed auto mechanic working out of his home the last 45 years. It seems that every time I drove up to his home, I could hear him using his pneumatic impact In the garage. I always...

Are the HF US General Series 2 boxes going away?

My OCD would prevent me from putting a series 3 cabinet on top of a series 2. Even with ordering the chrome trim kit, it still won't match because the actual shape of the trim is different now also! It would look like having a Husky top box, and a Craftsman bottom box. Would drive me nuts every...

Thanks! Just ordered. $174.00 after I applied a coupon code Home Depot mailed me for $25 off $150 and over. I often unintentionally let those coupons expire. Not this time!

Are the HF US General Series 2 boxes going away?

Harbor Freight claims that trim options will become available for the series 3 boxes. I haven't seen anything listed yet, but I haven't been looking either. I don't know if the trim will need to be special ordered with the cabinet, or if the trim will be offered separately and installed by the...

    Right Hand circular saw

No snickers here! I love my Craftsman 7 1/4” C3 saw, and I use it probably 10 times more than my corded Makita. Plus, the C3 is left side blade, which I prefer, and the Makita is right side blade. The Makita is a great saw, but I just prefer to use the C3. I’m just a diy’er, so longevity hasn’t...

    M12 Must have tools?

I recently purchased the M12 bandfile. I had planned to get the Astro Pneumatic 3037, but the M12’s portability and low noise level won me over. No regrets so far!

How are you all hanging or storing garden tools?

Agreed on the car dinging concern. I also no longer store anything in the corners of my two car garage near the garage door tracks either! I once had a rake handle fall and wedge between the wall and garage door track. Nearly brought down the door on top of my two cars when closing the door...

    Looked at Series 3

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't understand the price difference between the 56" and 72" series 3 boxes. Regular (non-sale) price of the 56" is $900. Regular price of 72" is $1800. The boxes seem identical, with the exception of 72" having the built in small end cabinet size...

    Looked at Series 3

The drawer latching system can easily be removed. Not sure if the slides also have detents like on my 56" Series 2 boxes? I'm with you on not much liking the Series 3, but I think we're in the minorty.

    Craftsman GripLatch is back

I have two Craftsman 41” stainless stacks with Griplatch from around 2012. Love em, and still work flawless. I don’t understand why all box manufactures don’t use them. If a higher production cost is an issue, just charge the difference in price. It’s well worth it IMHO!
