    14k 4 post bendpak problems

Well, after nearly a year with my HDS14 lift, I don't have any issues whatsoever. Sure, it doesn't see shop usage, but in the nearly a year I've had I've done 2 transmission jobs, counltess oil changes, rear axle service, countless inspections, tie rod jobs, couple brake jobs, d-shaft service...

    Garage Door High Lift!

Yeah, I did see those, but its a rather hokey setup. You have to keep plugged in this device, you have store this special "repeater opener" somewhere and make sure not to lose it, otherwise you can't program any device to the repeater, and, it defeats the whole purpose of the security 2.0 if it...

    Garage Door High Lift!

On a normal door, it goes horizontal as soon as it's go up, so that reduces alot of the weight the spring has to carry. On a high lift door, it has to carry the full weight of the door a few feet (27.75" in my case) vertical, before it goes horizontal. So the springs have to be heavier to carry...

    Garage Door High Lift!

I recently bought a 14k bendpak auto lift, I have 12' ceilings with 8' doors, but with a car on the lift, the garage door was not usable. So I needed to convert it to high lift! Requires new springs, drums, cables and an angled vertical track extension. I just wanted to pay someone to do it...

    14k 4 post bendpak problems

Well, I take back what I said earlier. I got my new HDS14, installed it...no issues whatso ever...well..they overpainted the wheels on the jacks which I had to free up with some pliers and lots of grease...and the instructions are rather vague at points....(manually lift the assembly to 66" to...

    Vintage Air Compressors

This is a 1934 US Air Compressor Model MK663 A friend of mine picked it up at a local sale and didn't want to use it. The 80 Gallon original tank was junk (although the original owner used it that way, rusted with a gasketed sheet metal screw in one hole). I built a new frame for the...

    14k 4 post bendpak problems

I believe Bendpak took back the lift with 100% refund. He bought an 18k Mohawk to replace it. That was my interpretation.

It's the same deal as wheelbase. The jacks just replaces the WB. Same restrictions, apply. Wherever you place the jacks replaces where the "wheels" are. Could be severely limiting. Again, the BP is a choice, just like they are making. At least they list it. Which is why, if I was putting this in...

    14k 4 post bendpak problems

Well, here's my $0.02 for whatever it's worth. I just bought this lift last Friday, along with 2 rolling 7k bendpak jacks. I do not have it yet. I was quite sure after shopping many lifts, many of which were far cheaper and uncertified, that I had made the right choice. I'm not quite sure if...
