I don't presently have a door on. The opening is 8' high. I was waiting until I got the floor done and then order a door for the opening. Some small hairline cracks. How far apart for the rebar to tie it in?

Those of you that have poured your own concrete slab, what did you lay on the ground before you poured the concrete? Did you lay down plastic or insulation or both? Are you happy with the results? I'm going to be pouring a 40 x 50 slab in the spring and I'm looking for advice. Thanks in advance.

Great looking garage! Did you use any rebar or wire mesh in the concrete floor? How do you like the vapor barrier? Does it work? How did you keep from puncturing it when you poured the concrete?

I going to build a garage next spring, and I saw in another thread where someone mentioned using Tekfoil insulation under the concrete floor. Anyone here ever use it and does it work?
