How big of a building can be moved?

This is the only picture I can find of our move. It is a feed mill that we moved to our facility to double our capacity. If I remember right it is 24' wide 36' long and 65' tall.

How do you guys hang stuff on metal walls?

I don't have much hung in my shop yet. Still getting settled in, but anything I have hung so far I have been taking a screw out that is holding the steel on the walls and putting a longer one in.

Let's see your Barnwood/Reclaimed wood projects!

Nice work. I really like the pantry. I have a few small projects that I have done also. I don't have any pictures right now but just picture frames and signs mostly. I took down an old barn that was on my farm and saved quite a bit of the wood but I hate working with it because it wants to split...

Gun safe in non climate control garage?

Mine is in the garage and in the winter we have a lot of moisture in there. I have had it in there for 4 years and not a problem. I use the biggest golden rod dehumidifier and hang it vertical right next to the guns.

    Painting your workbench?

I should specify that my top is not painted. It is black epoxy chemistry lab counter top. And my shop is still in the process of moving in in but will be for work and play. Just because it is for work and not play doesn't mean it can't look nice.

    New 32x56 build

I have 16 foot sidewalls so I could get a 14.5 foot door in. As of now I am not planning a loft, although it isn't out of the question in the future. We have some large equipment, semi's, combine, tractors, that we need the height for and also the full 56 feet so I don't want to block any space...

    Workshop 78...

I agree with onthefence. I think you need to start with putting everything away that has a place that it should be.Then start on one end and work your way to the other. I would probably start with the corner that has the power wheels toys in them. Pull the vehicles out and pull everything out of...

    New 32x56 build

I don't know what brand they are, but they are a t5 bulb. The electrician I use and have used for years recomended them to me so I took his word and am very pleased with the amount of light they let off. He said that he has been running numbers for the last year and LED just aren't worth it...

    New 32x56 build

I got my lights installed yesterday finally. They didn't get my outlets wired yet but I can live with the couple I wired in out of the box for now. Now I have enough light to take a picture of my almost done work bench even though its a mess. I have to finish painting the drawer pulls and...

Extension cord wrapping & storage ideas

I coil them up like normal and have some short pieces of rope with the ends tied together. I do the old bail twine knot. Or in other words go through the cord and then through 1 of loops on the rope. Then I just hang it from a nail. When I need it I just carry it by the rope to where I need it...
