Short run of #6 in wall, to conduit for EV charger

You could run armored cable the whole way...

Can this compressor be saved? (Horrors inside)

Yeah, I've fixed an old craftsman like that, which was almost as bad, works great now and puts out a lot of air. Just pull the pump housing apart, pull the crank and piston, wire brush everything except the bearing surface, maybe use one of those dingle-ball hones on the cylinders. Get a gasket...

Post Pictures of Your Tool's Birthday

Kinda unrelated, but how come it seems like a lot of tools and equipment made in the last ten or so years don't have dates of manufacture on them like older stuff?

Learned something today about three-way switches

Yes, but, assuming there's a neutral present in the box, it would only work on the first switch in the loop. Unless you ran another hot and neutral to the second box, then you could do it on either one.

Learned something today about three-way switches

See, I line them up vertically because dust can just fall through. When they are horizonal, due to gravity, it is more likely for debris to collect in the slots. That **** enough for you?

    Cordless 1/4 in Impact Drivers

Used to be that fuel was brushless and the other was not. But now, they have a non-fuel brushless line as well... And now, they have m18 fuel tools with smartphone connectivity and an app to control various functions of the tool. I think it's called onekey. Kinda pointless in my opinion though...

    installing 50 amp.... 6-2NM vs 6-2NM-B

A bunch of people will probably throw a fit over that, but I agree entirely.

removing stripped romex from underground conduit

Yeah, but if it works... It's not likely to hurt anyone or anything. Not saying I'd do it, but it's already there...

Detached garage light switch in home

This haha... And if a cell phone isn't good enough, you can buy a (wireless if you want) intercom to mount on the wall for very little money.

How would you yank out a bushing bolt?

Those are extremely useful for certain tasks... I just made some a couple weeks ago.

This is what I power my 3ph equipment with

At least if the power goes out, you can power the entire neighborhood...

Wiring a traffic light to flash?

Yeah but you'd be listening to it clicking the whole time. Something solid state would be much less irritating...
