    Tools of Japan

Everything I have said is 100% fact. I'm not sure how you expect people to feel when you ignore them and you owe them a product or money. Send my wrench and when I receive it I will gladly post here that I received it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good pump for changing gear/diff oil? I am considering the Motive products unit. I have their brake bleeder and it works well.

    Tools of Japan

I have made a couple of orders from franks tools with success. However, my last order has been a disaster. I received nothing for several weeks after placing the order. I then followed up with frank and he had forgotten to ship it. I received the order a couple of weeks later. However, in my set...

Australian "Masters" stores to stock Stahwille!

I visted the Braybrook store on Thursday. They absolutely do carry Stahlwille tools plus a bunch of other high end brands including Felo, Bessey and Knipex. They also have some nice brands across other sections of the store. e.g. Webber BBQ's, Nilfisk vaccum cleaners etc. Very impressive!

    Air compressor intake.

thats exactly the filter I have on my Aussie made 17cfm (12cfm FAD) Pilot compressor and it works fine. Quite a bit quieter than the factory filter and takes exactly the same time in seconds to inflate to 100psi so no change in flow.

    Valve for compressor outlet

My compressor currecnty has a folter regulator on the outlet but no valve. I'm considering adding some sort of valve as I'm thinking it will be useful. My only concern is whether the valve will restrict the airflow given the inside of ball valves seems to be fairly small.

Non asian made nch grinder and pedestal drill

Hi guys. I am from Australia and am desperately looking for a quality drilling machine and bench grinder. I want something that is not Asian made and I don't mind paying extra for them because I want to keep forever. European made is probably the best option given we run 240v single phase...

    Flourescent strip lighting layout

Thanks for all of the feedback guys. I have made a few (dramatic) changto my plan. I will be working on cars and doing detailing so I need a lot of light. I have decided to use 5ft fixtures (they use dual 58w tubes) and will arange them as per the diagram. Does this look better? I will also...

    Flourescent strip lighting layout

Thanks for the tips guys. I should have mentioned a couple of things. 1) I'm in Australia, so the 8ft tubes are as rare as hens teeth. 2) I have some shelves on the wall behing the bench, and I'm planning to mount 3 small T5 fluoros under the shelf above the bench. I agree...working in your...
