What have you guys done with the 8' space between trusses when you wanted to install a ceiling? Want to see some lessons learned and best route to take. Thanks
I searched but didnt see any threads dedicated to only garage pics with signs on the outside of them. Ive got a 40x24 and considering taking some of my signs and putting them on the outside. Thanks
Nice garage:thumbup:
If my doors were on gable end i would do the scissor truss vs 12' wall. Plan on having lift and it was more cost effective to do the entire ceiling the same height. Im planning for a lift and wanted to just raise one bay but it was more costly to do that.
Indiana.... builders go 2/12 around here but its close to house with 7/12 pitch and with 12' ceilings i think it wouldnt look as good as I want. Im thinking 4/12 at a minimum. like to see some pics
You should consider rock base for terrace too. Also Drain rock behind the wall with drain will go along way. You could have mud eventually seep in between rocks. nothing worse than a leaning wall and having to look at it everyday.
Anyone recommend a good tractor/loader backhoe for home use. Im thinking Kubota..... Any comments would be appreciated. I coudl rent one but think i would never run out of things to do with it around the house.
Great comments!! My wife was concerned about looks of it being so high walls. we are doing Wainscot....(sp) should i go larger than 3' to make it look more proportional?
