    Working with MDF?

Everyone else has already said it, but the glue in MDF usually contains formaldehyde which is nasty stuff you don't want to breathe in or get into your eyes. You should have good ventilation, dust collection, and wear a respirator if you cut it a lot.

Looking for a good mechanic's creeper

Picked up a Sunnex creeper recently and it's been great so far. Used to have the Harbor Freight plastic one and it was ok but it would flex with my weight and sometimes bottom out. Sunnex is made of metal and rolls really smooth. So far so good.

    Husky Workbench

The prices on these have gone up (like everything else) in the last 3 years but they're on sale now for cyber monday. I picked up the red 6 ft table for $285 to use as a reloading bench. I bought an 8 ft black table over the summer for $375 and have been very impressed with it. Very rigid and...

Now is a good time to buy tools

Prices on tool boxes, metal cabinets, metal tables, etc. have already started going up in some places like Home Depot and Lowes.

Why do old products on Amazon cost so much ?

I hardly ever shop at Amazon for tools anymore, they rarely ever have the best price. I like using Camelcamelcamel.com to check the price history of Amazon item. You just copy/paste the amazon link into the camel website and it'll show you a price chart over time so you'll know if you're...

Can I use Oscillating Multi-Tool to cut tree roots?

Just tried cutting up buried tree roots with my M18 multi tool and it worked great but dulled the blade pretty quickly. Much faster than the pick axe.

Wright Grip 2 vs. Williams Super Combo?

I bought both and stuck with the Wrights. The Super Combos were nice and I liked that they were a little longer but the finish has some small issues and I'd read about the jaws spreading on the smaller sizes. The Wright wrenches performed perfectly on 30 year old rusty stuck BMW fasteners that...

New Wilton vise, still worth investing in?

I was looking at a Tradesman a while ago but after finding out they were made in Taiwan I couldn't justify the price so I went with a Yost 865-D2 that I've been very happy with. I'll pay a premium for made in USA, but I didn't feel the Wilton offered anything over the Yost that justified being...

decent torx bits but decent price

Another vote for VIM, very happy with the long torx sockets I have, a necessity when working on VW/Audi cars.

    Best Anti-Slip Open End Wrenches?

Another vote for Wright they are great wrenches. Look for Wright 958 that should give you 7-24mm. That set is on Amazon for $248 right now.
