    3106 Pliers

Does anyone recognize this brand? I picked these up at a thrift store recently. I can make out 3106 and USA on the engraving.

    Harry Epstein order

Wilde makes some really nice stuff. I have gotten pry bars and pliers from them and they are all excellent quality.

    Lower-end socket set recommendations

Harbor Freight Pro sockets are good but, kind of thick. I would avoid the really cheap sets that aren't labeled pro. Stanley is also decent but the chrome will chip more easily than nicer sockets. I think they are both fine for DIY type use. Sometimes Cripe will have good deals on sockets too.

    Red shop rags

I use the home washer, but I clean up afterwards. I wipe the washer out and run a load of something dark in case there's any dye left.

Your Thoughts on Hex Bit Socket Sets

The Bonney ones are really nice if you can find the right sizes, I also have some Stanley Professional ones that have been ok.

Stanley or Teng Tools? None? Other?

A lot of Stanley stuff is decent. It's not professional quality but it works fine.

    hot glue sticks

I think getting the gun completely hot helps more than what glue sticks you use. None of the ones I've seen dry super hard.
