How about putting them on top of some of that plastic shelving that you see at Wal-Mart sometimes? This would provide you a waterproof base while maintaining your stock counter height. To me, being a little on the short side, this is important!

Thanks for the quick replies guys. This would be the house to tank line. I'm not planning on a lot of heavy trucks driving across it with the exception of probably a concrete truck when the floor is poured. I guess one time or one hundred times probably doesn't matter driving across it though.

I'll be moving to a new house in the country in the next few months and am already planning for a garage build. My problem lies in the fact that the only place for the garage requires driving across the septic line coming from the house. I'm wondering if the line can be dug up and have concrete...
