Your fav tool, what you do, fav brand

I'm a VP/Controller for a private equity firm. So, I don't wrench for a living, but having bought my first home last October, I've been doing things around the house nonstop. My favorite brand has to be Snap On/Williams and DeWalt. My favorite tool so far has to be a toss up between my DeWalt...

    Craftsman Pro screwdrivers

The Cman Pro's are my second favorite set that I own. The first being the Williams/SO hard handles. I keep the Williams on my work bench and the Cman Pro's in my tote. So, if I'm doing an odd job around the house and need a driver, I use the Cman Pro's. They're comfortable and have worked well.

    Favorite screwdrivers

I've used it a couple of times and it has served me well. Includes slotted, phillips, and torx bits. The handle fits really well in my hands. Similar to their screwdrivers.

    Favorite screwdrivers

I've got Craftsman Professional, DeWalt, and the close out Craftsman in the grey handles, but my Williams hard handle set is my favorite. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Show us your Tool Tote:

This is my tote/bag. Currently working on a wall at home so I've got the hammer, drills, putty knives, etc. But I'll always carry screwdrivers, ratcheting screwdriver with shanks, bits, tape measure, pencils, sharpies, and stud finder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

dewalt vs makita 3/8 cordless impact

If you're going to consider an impact driver from one of those guys, I'd strongly consider getting their brushless version. Its not much more than the version with brushes, however the brushless is more efficient and a bit more powerful.

    Tool you were impressed with

+1 on this. I love my brushless impact driver. Sometimes too much. I'm putting up curtain rods in the house and defaulted to using the impact driver. Sometimes "delicate" jobs like that are too much for the impact driver. I placed a couple of bad gouges on the wall from the driver skipping...
