    What's the proper lube?

Got a 98 1 ton. Went through the same thing. Use synthetic 75 w 90 in the diffs. atf in the xfer case if it's a floor shift. Auto push button = fancy gm only oil. Same as above. Check owners manual cuz some diffs need "friction modifiers" additive. Usually only if it's a limited slip/ posi...

"warming" a standard 2 car garage on the cheap

All good advice. Fuel burners make lots and lots of moisture and will rust everything. They also need ventilation, definitely get a co monitor! There are some mighty powerful electric radiant heaters that would do the job safely. Find dpelletier on this site, he uses one.

If you have tall enough ceilings, radiant tubes are going to be absolutely quiet! but they heat objects, not air, so until the stuff heats up, the air will be frosty! Looks good though man!!! good thing, you look all closed up just a couple weeks before we got snowed on!!! good timing

    Reznor heater venting questions

Hey, You said you are using solvents and a wash tank under the heater. any kind of solvent, spraycan propellant, glues, gasoline fumes, wood dust, can all rot out your burner prematurely, not to mention simply EXPLODE once it kicks in. I suggest a separated combustion unit that eats outside air...
