What tool is designed to fit into those two holes and unscrew the part? I know a long nose pliers can be used, but I wonder if there was a special tool or bit with perfectly rounded lugs that fit into the holes without scratching them. Thanks.
Just seen some looking pliers by the Japanese company 3 Peaks. Do you have experience with these pliers? Any comments on quality are appreciated.
I don't recall hearing about that company before. Is it new?
Brilliant. I've just received a massive Gedore locking pliers, but I'm ordering one of these Spanish babes right away :)
P.S. In case you were wondering why I buy so many locking pliers, looks at what happens to them just after few months of use
(the dings are from my hammering to return...

I saw that no one contradicted it so I assumed it was correct. Forging makes sense though. Casting would not take loads.
Thanks. I have 2 of the 7" but did not know 10" was different! As for your note about Knipex, does that mean that Knipex too sell 7" pliers made by Wezag, or does knipex make a copy of that design in its own factory? :)
Great info, thanks!
I read on this board that the jaws of Grip On pliers are cast, not forged like other brands. Any difference or failures in actual use because of this?
Ordered another Stahlwille locking pliers and expected to receive the one made by Wegaz as usual but looks like Wezag no more makes them for Stahlwille. Can you tell me who is the OEM for these pliers?
The release lever has this wide flab
Thanks
