Which size socket do I need?

Leaving teeth marks on a Chinese jack part that will never be seen is "cheesy", but measuring stuff with a ruler and two popsicle sticks isn't? Use your pipe wrench!

compact impact with "Ball" retainer NOT snap ring retainer

Huh? Just hold the socket and pull it away from the gun with your free hand, and blip the trigger with the other. Should come right off!

M18 shop vac or compact vac?

I haven't used the compact, but I don't think I've heard many good things said about it. I do own the M18 wet/dry vac, and at this point I don't know how I ever got along with out it! Its so easy now to give the vehicles a quick vaccuum, clean up an area of the shop, etc..., and the wife is...

What lube to use on KD pulley puller 2897

Lol, yes. Its a ******* puller, not a turbine bearing. One would think that a person with the gumption to even make use of a "pulley puller" wouldn't have to make a thread to ask which lube to use.... :bounce:

    Edger blade shaft removal

Of course its gonna be rusty, but that shouldn't be a problem. clean up the exposed portions of shaft with emery, take a good look for set screws, and clamp bolts. and use a gear puller on whatever you can. I wouldn't be afraid to to lightly beat on anything with a soft hammer, but make sure...

What lube to use on KD pulley puller 2897

Krytox GPL 201 is the only thing I would use. Its far and away the best, and most highly-recommended grease for pulley pullers. http://store.tmcindustries.com/Krytox-GPL-201-Grease-8-oz-tube_p_11.html

Recommend a Chicago area shop to have rear main oil seal replaced?

If that's your problem, you just may be able to get it fixed for $300 lol. Or perhaps take care of it yourself.

Recommend a Chicago area shop to have rear main oil seal replaced?

No oil left in the engine? Large, immediate leak? Doesn't sound like a main seal to me....

    Recommend me a micro chuck

I have an few Jacobs chucks in 5/32 - 1/4" that'll all hold a 1/32" bit. Of course these are "custom" built with machined arbours to hold in a collet or larger chuck. Jacobs does make a .250 chuck with a hex shank that'll hold down to .030...

will hammerdrill work for 5/8" holes?

4 holes? Yes, it'll work. Also, a big "NO" to drilling pilot holes in concrete. Save for maybe a dimple to prevent wandering when starting the hole, a pilot is nothing but a waste of time, regardless of the bit size.

    Best hitch pin

I had this one in for probably 5 years straight now. Still works like new, even after 5 full winters worth of salt spray. https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/class-iii-iv-5-8-in-stainless-steel-dogbone-deadbolt-hitch-pin/A-p8290389e
