Being on the receiving end of a you **** is a nice change[emoji38]
Yeah I had planned to break it down if I couldn’t pick it up but I managed to do it in one piece & I definitely didn’t need to bargain on this one.
The guy showed me he had 35 people contact him after me offering to pick it up...
Excited about my vise score today & I don’t see my wife being riveted by the story so I had to share with people who could appreciate such a thing [emoji1787]
Couldn’t get to sleep last night so amongst many things I started scrolling mindlessly through marketplace when I came across a listing...
Mostly for the convenience of a keyless chuck & the better selection of bits. I understand I couldn’t use chisels & accessories designed to be used on the “hammer only” function but other than that how do they differ?

So I’ve had this Bosch hammer drill for probably 15 years & it’s been great but the original Rohm chuck has finally bit the dust. Since I need to replace the chuck I figured it would be a nice upgrade to swap it with an SDS Plus style. I assumed that would be easy enough by just finding an SDS...
A couple minor updates. Got the last few pieces of drywall up & exterior lights installed.
I wanted the gooseneck lamps mounted flush the siding without a box on the surface so of course that made things more complicate but hey I’ve come this far why compromise now. Centering the light over...
Another long Saturday with some friends & we knocked out hanging 95% of the walls!! I don’t think they like me enough to help mud it though [emoji23] Hell I don’t like me enough to mud it!

Been a while since I’ve updated this! Life continues to get in the way so it’s been slow going but I’m sticking to my guns to not make companies & do things exactly how I want them the first time.
Got 90% of the electrical finished. Had some time off work & 5 awesome friends that spend an...
Lowes does it for their "Contractor Days". During that promotion you can bring in an old HD, Menards or other 5 gal bucket & exchange it for a new Lowes branded one. I don't believe it's a standing everyday deal though, just during that week.
On steel tables I usually weld a 3/4" nut to the bottom of the leg & then just use a 3/4" bolt as the leveling foot. I love those McMaster style leveling feet like the above link but they get pricey compared to a bolt. You can do the same on a wooden leg by boring a hole in the bottom of it...
For lighting I have all of the overhead lights on 2 banks. The other 4 switches will be for ceiling fan, front exterior lights, walk through door exterior light & a spot light off the rear corner.

A little more detail on the wiring...
For the 120v outlets I set 4” square boxes every 8’ at around 42” high with dual outlets. Each run goes around the perimeter high on the wall & has a box where it drops down for that circuit. The Boxes high on the wall will get blank covers to allow future...
Lol I think the same about most of the stuff you post[emoji23]
I can’t stand the idea of all that clutter on the wall & want to be able to expand easily if needed so Romex is out. Why not spend way more money & time doing it like this?...makes logical sense in my head!
