    Subpanel Help.

I'd find another electrician who is willing to work around your needs and not his. Unless there is something I'm missing, I'd go 100amp.

How did you run your wire to electric heater??

I don't think you are going to get enough BTU's out of it for that size shop. You would most likely need a couple units.

How did you run your wire to electric heater??

It's a Fahrenheat FUH54. I have one and it works great. Wired it up like the picture in the previous post. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000AXEZV/?tag=atomicindus08-20

    pole barn shop quote, YIKES!!!

I am just finishing my 32x48x14 pole barn. I built the entire building myself. The only thing hired out was the garage doors and concrete floor. Shingle roof, vinyl siding, 100amp electrical, water, 11 x 20 loft with insulated room below, 1-16x12 insulated overhead door w/opener, 1-12x12...

    How to insulate this?

I would just put batts in. Either use batts with kraft paper or unkrafted with 6mil plastic. The kraft paper or plastic will be your vapor barrier. Vapor barrier almost always gets installed on the warm side of the insulation. D.

Thermostat for Mr. Heater Big Maxx

You should be able to use any brand thermostat. A simple dial thermostat would be the cheapest. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000RUJH3E/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Garage Door Size - One large or two small?

Thanks for all the input. I think for my application I will be happier with one door. I'm able to use the spac on the sides more efficiently. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I get closer. Thanks! D.
