That’s what I just figured out. Could I just get a normal check valve and put it in the tank. Does the pipe need to be 1 inch or whatever it is to handle the air for this pump?

Yeah I noticed when turned it on for the first time some oil/water blew out of the holes. Then it leaked out of the holes continuously until the tank was out of air.
