Above 1200 Sq/FT Priest River shophouse

Long time member, just got my dream shophouse built this summer. Moved in in August, took forever to get everything out of boxes & put away. Thought I'd show it off. Original plan was #1070-121 from Houseplans.com. The builder & I made some modifications. Living area & office have mini splits...

    Workbench Toobox -utility sink

Digging up an old thread. I'm building a shop house in Priest River, ID. and thinking about a shop utility sink. Something kinda cool. Maybe a HF cabinet/workbench? This one is $375 as is. Not sure it's deep enough though.

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

https://www.harborfreight.com/12v-max-lithium-38-in-cordless-xtreme-torque-ratchet-wrench-kit-64196.html Love mine. It's about a year old. Been thru a complete Jeep engine uninstall, build & reinstall. Plus loads of smaller projects. Still rocks.

"Dumb question. Whats so special about harbor freight?"

If I have 10 tools from HF (and I have way more), at least 8 or 9 of them is still with me. I have a combination miter saw that is like 10 yrs old. A bandsaw that is maybe 8 yrs old. I did have an angle grinder die on me recently, but it was at least 5 yrs old & had been abused a lot. I bought...

    TV In Your Garage

I have a 28" LCD, an older one that was in my wife's bedroom before we got married. We have Dish & I've never opted to pay for a Joey on that TV. I use a Roku on it, another freebie I acquired some place. If I'm working on something in the garage, it's nice to have a game on or something.

Ice Dam? (a.k.a. water coming from where it shouldn't)

We have a valley in the roof that has a tendency to dam up & creates an ice dam that is about 30' tall down the side of the house. Years ago I figured out how to take a pair of women's knee high nylons, filled with snowmelt, and lob it up on the roof just above that valley. I might have to do it...

    Coolest Tool Guy/Brand Bottle Opener

I have the Craftsman bottle opener. But if it's cool you want, I have this one stuck to the fridge. It's way cooler!

    Autohaus

Very cool place! I like the cantilevered car port. Although I'd be happy to cut expenses & use wood beams & posts out at the end too. Seems like the type of place that would be in an urban area, like a block or so off the main drag, whereas the one Esalder posted would be in the burbs...

Is Harbor Freight turning a corner?

I figured quality at HF was plenty good enough to get them a descent rep & build a big customer base. I have quite a few of their tools that are years old & not had issues. ATV winch got replaced under warranty & the new one has been great. Chop saw has trimmed out 2 houses & done dozens of...

Tiny jumper, 5 star rated, $36

Bought one off Amazon when this was listed last year & stuck it in the back of the truck. Then this summer I had a customer call with a dead boat that needed to be started. A 35' Regal with twin 8.1 liter V8s. The batteries weren't dead, but could only turn over one engine like 1 revolution...

Tools more consistent than HF in quality

As with any search, I would use terms more specific than just "tools". Like "compound miter saw" or "tig welder" or "shaft packing wrench'. No brand will cover all those types of tools. And often times no single place would carry them all either. And that search would not reveal ANY of them...
