Most of you probably got the email, but DRPD's Black Friday sale has begun... and they are already running out of stock so hurry before they run dry! I was all ready to dip my feet into a new Ko-ken ratchet addiction (had the 2725Z in my cart) but they are already out of stock. 😢 Discount...

Battery Rotary Tools - Dremel vs 12v Milwaukee vs ?

In situations where you want very fine speed control, like trimming a very small or specific section of plastic or sheet metal, where you don't want to accidentally trim too much. A die grinder CAN work, but its not ideal. Installing interior panels in aircraft is a good example. You want to...

Battery Rotary Tools - Dremel vs 12v Milwaukee vs ?

Good tools but generally not as suitable for smaller detail work. As the OP has pointed out, speed control for small detailed jobs is difficult with the die grinders.

Battery Rotary Tools - Dremel vs 12v Milwaukee vs ?

I have the m12 rotary tool and use it almost daily. The convenience of not having a cord to drag around and tangle in things is actually really nice. I have the older brushed version but our shop just bought the brush-less to replace our aging corded Dremel. Both the brushed and brush-less M12...

The types of issues you are reporting are clear indications of moisture saturated filament. While it is not always necessary to dry PETG. It is not uncommon (in my experience) to have wet filament out of the box or have filament that needs to be dried after being out for a month. (MatterHackers...

Filament dried? I never have issues with my X1 as long as I dry PETG for 6-12hrs in my Ebois filament drier before I print. I mostly print Polymaker and Kaaber PETG

That would be my assumption... that cooking kills any bacteria that finds its way from the 3d printed cookie cutter to the dough during the cutting process.

I assume you are aware, but in case you are not, it is not recommended to use 3d printing to make food/drink receptacles because bacteria can so easily grow between the layers. I think there are several good designs on Printables for organizing pistol mags... of course these may not suit your...

Nice! I have a soft spot in my heart for the Vyper. It was my first printer and introduced me to the hobby. I now run a X1C with an AMS.

I print both. ABS is cheap but the stink factor is noticeably higher. ASA is really nice for the few outdoor prints I have done because of the added UV resistance, but its typically 2X the price of ABS. At least the brands I buy (Polymaker, eSun, and Overture)

Would you mind sharing a link for where one can go to use the free, personal version of Fusion 360? For the life of me I couldnt find a non-subscription version of Fusion, so I have been using OnShape.

Tekton Rousseau Tool Chest Overview & Thoughts

Its easy to disable on the Tekton. Remove the drawer, remove the retaining screw that holds the safety slider mechanism, pull the mechanism out and throw it away.
