Forgive my naivety with terminology. Spindle is in the rack and pinion correct? All that is in the casing. The rack and pinion was stuck in the down position, as shown in the pics. I was able to tap it back into the casing enough to get the teeth engaged with the lever and Shazam it’s back to...
These gear teeth are on the inner cylinder allowing the press additional 5-6 inches of throw (torque). I can’t budge it up or down. Seems it should just slide out?
